Day 1
Depart USA and fly through the transatlantic night to Denmark via SAS.

Day 2, COPENHAGEN:
Arrive Kastrup Airport in the morning. Transfer on your own to downtown. Check into your first class hotel centrally located in Copenhagen. At 6:00 PM, your tour escort will invite you for a get-together dinner in a restaurant inside the famous Tivoli Gardens. Hotel: The Square D

Day 3, COPENHAGEN-OSLO CRUISING:
After your first delicious Danish Buffet breakfast you are invited to a city tour of Copenhagen, including such highlights as the Amalienborg Palace, the Queen's renaissance residence, Strøget Pedestrian Street and the Little Mermaid resting on her tiny cliff in the waters of Øresund. Afternoon at leisure for you to explore the lovely city on your own and take a stroll on the shopping and pedestrian street "Strøget". Afternoon transfer to the DFDS Seaways pier for embarkation on the overnight cruise to Oslo. Departure at 5:00 PM, and while you sail past Hamlet‘s spectacular castle Kronborg, a delicious buffet dinner is served in the restaurant. After dinner the evening is free to visit the night club with live music and dancing.

Day 4, OSLO:
The last leg of your cruise takes you to the inner reaches of the long, narrow Oslo Fjord - dotted with islands and costal villages. Upon arrival in Oslo, you will enjoy a 3-hours city tour of Oslo, the Norwegian capital. You will drive past Akershus Fortress, and you will be taken to the Vigeland Park to see the impressive sculptures by Norwegian artist Gustaf Vigeland. Finally a drive towards Holmenkollen Hills will give you a fine view of the ski jump and the surrounding hills. Time for light lunch on your own at the main street Karl Johan or Aker Brygge, and the sightseeing will end at the hotel for check in. The rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5, OSLO-GEILO:
After breakfast, a modern touring coach is ready to take you into the Norwegian Landscapes. Drive along the shores of the Tyri Fjord to Hadeland for a visit to the glassworks, Norway's oldest. Continue into the fertile Halling Valley with farms scattered on the hillsides, and drive via Gol to Torpo to view the old wooden stave church. Finally you proceed to Geilo, a famous ski resort where dinner and overnight awaits you.

Day 6, GEILO-FLÅM-STALHEIM:
After breakfast you will depart from Geilo by train and cross the Roof of Norway before you arrive the mountain station of Myrdal. Here you change to the famous Flåm Railroad, the steepest and most spectacular railroad in Europe. 1:05 PM arrival in the small village of Flåm, nested by the Aurland Fjord, and time for lunch and some shopping. At 3:00 PM you will depart on a 2-hours cruise on the Aurland and Nærøy fjords, both arms of the majestic Sognefjord, and unforgettable experience of steep mountains and roaring waterfalls. Disembark in Gudvangen and drive up the narrow hairpin road to Stalheim, your mountain top hotel for the next 2 days.

Day 7, STALHEIM-BERGEN-HARDANGER FJORD-STALHEIM:
Today you will enjoy a full day excursion to Bergen. Drive via Voss and upon arrival in Bergen your tour escort will take you on a short orientation tour including the fish market and the Bryggen Wharf, now on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Free time to explore the charming city on your own, and mid-afternoon you return to Stalheim on a different route, this time via Steindalsfossen waterfalls and along the shores of the Hardanger Fjord and back via Voss.

Day 8, STALHEIM-SOGNEFJORD-GEIRANGER:
After breakfast a descent to Vinje and a ferry crossing on the Sognefjord from Vangsnes to Dragsvik. From Balestrand, board a ferry at 12noon for a 1 hour 20 minutes cruise on the idyllic Fjærland Fjord. Disembark in Fjærland and stop to admire the ice blue Jostedal Glacier which can be seen from the road before you continue your drive via Skei and Loen along the Hornindal Lake to Hellesylt. At 5:00 PM a ferry will take you on an unforgettable 90-minutes cruise on the fabulous Geiranger Fjord where you pass the Seven Sisters' Waterfalls. Disembark in the fjord village of Geiranger.

Day 9, GEIRANGER-LILLEHAMMER:
This morning a short drive to Dalsnibba, one of the most famous panorama points in Norway and then via Grotli to Lom where you stop to view the old wooden stave church from the 12th century. Then drive via Otta into the Gudbrands Valley, also said to be the home of the Trolls, and in the afternoon you reach Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics. After a short orientation drive of the Olympic sites, you will check into your hotel. Free time before dinner for a stroll on the charming main street.

Day 10, LILLEHAMMER-MORA-FALUN:
Today you drive across the border into Sweden and across forest-clad landscapes into the province of Dalecarlia. Make a stop in Mora and continue around the Lake Siljan to Nusnes to visit the manufacturers of the famous wooden Dalar horses. Finally you arrive in Falun, an old mining town and today considered the main city in Dalarna.

Day 11, FALUN-UPPSALA-STOCKHOLM:
Today you drive via Sala to Uppsala, the old university town where you visit the impressive medieval cathedral and the silver Bible at Carolina Redivivit (if open). Then a short stop in Sigtuna, a small town by Lake Malaren with its charming main street with painted wooden houses, and in the afternoon you reach Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Time for a short walk with your tour escort before dinner on your own.

Day 12, STOCKHOLM:
This morning after breakfast, a local guide and private coach will take you on a 3-hours city tour of Stockholm. Visit the City Hall, site of the annual Nobel Prize Banquet. Enjoy a panoramic view from Fjellgatan Street of the city, also called "Beauty on the Water", and take a stroll in the Old Town with its narrow cobble-stoned streets. On the way back to the hotel you will pass the Royal Palace, the Parliament and the modern part of the city. Afternoon at leisure to shop for the last Scandinavian souvenir or maybe take an optional cruise in the canals and harbour of Stockholm.
