Day 1, Thursday USA-COPENHAGEN:
Depart USA and fly through the trans Atlantic night to Denmark.

Day 2, Friday COPENHAGEN:
Arrive Copenhagen and transfer on own to your centrally located hotel. Explore this lovely city on your own and take a stroll on the shopping and pedestrian street "Strøget".
Hotel: First Hotel Vesterbro or similar

Day 3, Saturday COPENHAGEN-CRUISING:
In the afternoon transfer on your own to the pier (less than 10 minutes by taxi) and embark M/S Lirica, your luxurious home for the next 7 nights. Cruise through the night to Kiel.

Day 4, Sunday KIEL-CRUISING:
Kiel, the capital of the state of Schleswig-Holstein, is a traditional maritime and naval city. See the famous town hall and watch the impressive Kiel canal that links the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.

Day 5, Monday OSLO-CRUISING:
Oslo is Norway's capital and largest city. Located at the head of the Oslofjord, this city is encircled by wooded hills and snowcapped peaks. It is a small and eminently walkable city with engaging mix of old and new, graced by broad avenues, parks and elegant neo-classical buildings. Don't miss the enticing shops of strictly pedestrian Karl Johansgate and Bogstadveien, the Royal Palace, medieval Akershus Fortress, and the Munch Museum containing 5000 of the artist's sketches and paintings.

Day 6, Tuesday STAVANGER-CRUISING:
Cruise along the coast of Norway to Stavanger, Norway's fourth largest city, situated on the Ryfylke Fjord. It has always been a bustling seaport with a thriving fish-canning industry. Today it is the oil capital of Europe. Although this has made the city more cosmopolitan, Stavanger remains a charming seaport amid beautiful surroundings. The old market place, where fish and vegetables have been sold since the ninth century, is set against the cathedral, dating from 1125. "Gamle Stavanger" - Old Stavanger - in the heart of the city, is filled with some 150 wooden houses, cobblestone streets, steep hills, fascinating quays and well preserved homes - many with picket fences. Old Stavanger is considered northern Europe's best preserved wooden-house settlement.

Day 7, Wednesday FLÅM-CRUISING:
Cruise into the famous Sognefjord, the longest and deepest in the world. Flåm is set in picture postcard scenery at the end of the Aurlandsfjord, an arm of the Sognefjord. Flåm boasts one of the most spectacular railway journeys in Europe, ascending almost 3,000 feet to the mountain village of Myrdal. The train ride offers magnificent views over the Flåm valley. Flåm is the perfect starting point for optional excursions in the fjord area.

Day 8, Thursday HELLESYLT-GEIRANGER CRUISING:
Cruise along the west coast passing the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund before continuing to Hellesylt. Hellesylt is a beautiful small ferry port on the magnificent Geiranger Fjord, recently named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Geiranger is a remote village on the renowned Geirangerfjord. The fjord provides a glittering backdrop for the magical Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet down towering cliffs.

Day 9, Friday DAY AT SEA:
Spend the entire day cruising from Norway into Skagerak and Kattegat during the night towards Denmark.

Day 10, Saturday COPENHAGEN:
Your cruise of the Norwegian fjords comes to an end as you disembark in Copenhagen this morning. Transfer on your to the hotel. You might want to spend your last night in Copenhagen's famous Tivoli Gardens.

Day 11, Sunday COPENHAGEN-USA:
Transfer on your own to the airport, and fly back to the USA.
