Day 1, Saturday USA-HELSINKI: Depart USA and fly through the transatlantic night to Finland. Day 2, Sunday HELSINKI: Arrive Helsinki's Vantaa airport in the morning and transfer by airport shuttle (not included) to downtown Helsinki. Check into your luxurious hotel, located in the very heart of Helsinki and only steps away from the city's main square, the Esplanaden. To get a taste of Russia, why not treat yourself to a Welcome Dinner in one of the authentic Russian Restaurants? Spend the morning at leisure before taking a guided walking tour of the quaint Old Town, seeing such highlights as Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Large and Small Guild House, the Powder Tower and the Freedom Monument. Hotel: Gutenbergs B/L Day 8, Saturday RIGA - TALLINN: This morning offers an excursion to Lake Jugla where the Ethnographic Open Air Museum is located. On a 25 acres property you are transported back in time to Latvia of the old times, as close to one hundred buildings are presented here; farmsteads, churches, windmills and even an intact fishing village. Early in the afternoon, transfer by bus to Tallinn an interesting tour of app. five hours by private coach. Evening arrival in Estonia's proud capital, Tallinn. Hotel: Palace B/L Day 9, Sunday TALLINN - HELSINKI: A full day in Tallinn, starting with a walking tour of the Old Town - which with its cobblestone streets, massive city walls and towers and turrets of the old fortress - is like a living museum. Lunch in a typical Estonian restaurant, before driving to Kadriorg Park - a vast estate park built by Peter the Great. Today it is a posh residential neighborhood and a favorite strolling place for Tallinners. Czarina Catherine's Palace is here, as well as the residence of the Estonian president. Later visit the Song Grounds, where the famous All Estonian Song Festival is held July 2-4 every 4 th year. Late afternoon transfer to the pier and cruise across the Gulf of Finland to Helsinki, arriving in the evening. The last night is spent at the elegant Hotel: Scandic Hotel Simonkentta B/L Day 10, Monday Transfer to the airport by shuttle (not included) and fly back to the USA.
