| Day 1, Thursday HELSINKI: Check into your hotel of choice and explore the Finnish capital on your own. Your hotel is located in the very heart of Helsinki and only steps away from the city's main square, the Senate Square. Around this beautiful square you find stately buildings, excellent shopping and numerous cafes and restaurants. To get a taste of Russia, why not treat yourself to a welcome dinner in one of the authentic Russian Restaurants? Hotel: See price list Day 2, Friday HELSINKI - ST. PETERSBURG: Departure from Helsinki Railway Station early morning by Finnish Train Sibelius. Arrival to St. Petersburg early afternoon. After lunch at a local restaurant you will have a Panoramic city tour featuring the major highlights like the Admiralty, Palace Square, Smolny Convent, etc. Hotel: See price list B/L Day 3, Saturday ST. PETERSBURG: This morning after breakfast you will have a Comprehensive tour of Hermitage Museum featuring Old Masters, State Rooms of the Winter Palace and Impressionists' Exhibition. After lunch at a downtown restaurant, you will visit the St. Isaac's and St. Nicolas Cathedrals. Hotel: See price list B/L Day 4, Sunday ST. PETERSBURG - HELSINKI: Today includes an out of town excursion to Pushkin and a visit to Catherine's palace, a magnificent Imperial palace 16 miles south of the city. It is considered a pearl of Russian Baroque architecture and interior design of the 18th century and is a must for history lovers. On return, lunch is served in a typical Russian restaurant. After lunch transfer back to the railway station and board the Finnish Sibelius train. Arrive back in Helsinki in the late evening.
