Day 1: ARRIVAL OSLO: Arrive Oslo and check into your hotel. Make yourself acquainted with this pulsating city beautifully situated on the northern end of the long and narrow Oslo Fjord. Hotel: Opera Day 2: OSLO-ÅNDALSNES-GEIRANGER: Morning departure from Oslo by train for a spectacular journey to Åndalsnes, a quaint village on the shores of the Romsdalsfjord, with Trollveggen the highest mountain face in Europe towering above. Continue by coach on the "Golden Road" toward Geiranger, ascending the famous Trollstigen Canyon Road with its steep and narrow hairpin bends, then descending the Eagle Road to Geiranger. Your hotel has a beautiful location on the sloping hill with fantastic vistas of the Geiranger Fjord. Hotel: Union B Day 3: GEIRANGER-ÅLESUND: Enjoy the morning in beautiful Geiranger before embarking the Coastal Steamer for a sail on the famous Geiranger Fjord, considered Norway's most beautiful fjord. Pass cascading waterfalls like the Seven Sisters and the Suitor and continue on the Stor Fjord. Cruise on to a late afternoon arrival in Ålesund, the city rebuilt in Art Nouveau style after a big fire in 1904. Hotel: Radisson SAS Ålesund B Day 4: ÅLESUND-MÅLØY-BERGEN: Time to explore the coastal town of Ålesund in the morning. Ålesund is at the top of the fjord country; spread over three islands in an archipelago, with the snow-capped Sunnmøre Alps in the background. Around noon depart by motor coach for a scenic drive to Måløy. At Måløy you will board the Express Boat heading for Bergen. Cruise along the dramatic west coast amidst small fishing villages and hamlets, islands and skerries. Evening arrival in Bergen, the Fjord Capital. Check into your hotel located next to the pier.
