Air Transportation
All airfares are quoted out of New York, if not otherwise specified. Class of service is economy. Airfares in this program are based on rates received in October 2007 and are subject to change without prior notice. No seat assignments or mileage reports are done by Passage Tours. Departure and Arrival taxes and fuel surcharges are additional.

Responsibility Information
These tours are designed and operated by Passage Tours of Scandinavia, Inc. ("PTS"). PTS is the tour wholesaler and is responsible for producing and operating the services outlined on the website. PTS acts only as agent for the various transportation, lodging, sightseeing and other companies identified in the tours in providing travel arrangements and is in no way to be considered the principal of the subject services or as agent for the tour participant. PTS shall not be responsible or liable for and expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any loss, expense, accident, injury or damage to person or property which results directly or indirectly from any act of God, Force Majeure, strikes or an act, whether negligent or otherwise, or omission (including but not limited to delays) of any person, firm or corporation with this tour, including but not limited to transportation services, lodging, food, beverage, entertainment, sightseeing, luggage handling or tour guiding or escorting. The acceptance of any tickets or other services by the tour participants shall be deemed to be consent to such express disclaims. The website constitutes all of the representations made by PTS and its entire agreement between PTS and the tour participant. PTS reserves the right to alter the tour itinerary and fares should it become necessary or desirable, and all additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the tour participant. PTS reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of this tour any time, its only obligation upon such removal being to refund the unused portion of the tour price. PTS also reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure. In such cases, full refund of all payments will constitute full settlement with the tour participant. The cost of this tour is based on the current monetary exchange rate, tariffs, and costs of service to be provided and is subject to adjustment prior to departure date in the event of changes therein. The terms and conditions of this tour may not be altered or modified without the express written consent of a corporate officer of PTS. The airlines concerned are not to be responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passenger's contract in use by the airline concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. Any airline and/or transportation companies herein mentioned shall have or incure no responsibility aside from their liability as common carriers. Possible complaints must be in writing and have to be received by PTS at the latest 30 days after the completion of tour.

Deposit and final payment
A $ 250.00 deposit per person confirms your reservation and is applied towards your final payment. Checks and money orders accepted. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.(For NCV cruises and group bookings the final payment is due 60 days prior to departure) If reservations are made within 45 days prior to departure date, payment must be made in full upon confirmation of booking. PTS reserves the right to cancel reservations not paid in full by due date. A service charge of $ 10 is subject to all bookings.

Land Revision Fees
A per person handling fee will be assessed for any change in reservations after the original booking has been made and under deposit: From confirmation of reservations through 45 days prior to departure: $ 25. 44-30 days prior to departure: ...revision fee or normal cancellation fees, whichever applies (see Cancellation Fees below).

Cancellation Notice & Cancellation Fees
PTS reserves the right to cancel any tour up to ten (10) days prior to departure, for any reason including insufficient number of participants. If PTS cancels the tour, the participants will receive full refund of monies paid within seven (7) days of cancellation notice. From receipt of first payment/deposit through 45 days prior to tour; $ 50 / 44-30 days prior to tour; $ 75 / 29 to 8 business days prior to departure; $ 100 + first 3 days of the tour (excluding transatlantic night). 7 days or less = No Show. For all Escorted Tours, Cruises, Fjord Cruises, the Baltic States, Spitsbergen, Greenland and Rail Passes:
- 100-31 days: 60% of tour cost is forfeited
- 31-8 days: 80% of tour cost is forfeited
- 7 days and less prior to departure:
100% of tour cost is forfeited
All cancellations must be made in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date when written notice is received by PTS. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended. All Airline Tickets are non refundable.

No Shows are Non-Refundable
For all programs, participants whose reservations are not cancelled with PTS by 5:00 pm EST by the third business day prior to departure from USA will be considered no-shows and will forfeit all monies paid. No itinerary change allowed when touring.

Refund for Unused Features/Services
Unused portions of tour vouchers for hotels or any unused features/services are not exchangeable or refundable.

Travel Documents
Travel documents will be issued approximately 30-21 days prior to departure date on all fully paid reservations. Overnight delivery charges will be assessed when necessary to provide documents for late reservations.

Land Prices
Prices for all land arrangements are in US dollars. They are based on rates and exchange rates received in October 2007. Prices are subject to increase without notice if such rates change prior to departure. Our prices are given as a package price and cannot be broken down.

Costs not included
Passports, visas where required, travel insurance, gratuities, laundry, telephone calls, beverages, meals not included in the itinerary, sightseeing or services other than those listed. Travel and baggage insurance are strongly recommended.

Accommodation
If change in the accommodation becomes necessary for any reason in any program, hotels and other substitutions will be of similar quality to those shown. Where available, we have used hotel ratings established by the Official Hotel Guide and rated them accordingly in this program as PTS's Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver Style hotels.

Meals
With all hotel accommodation, breakfast is normally included. No breakfasts included with overnight trains or point to point coastal steamer. On escorted tours, meals are indicated with the itinerary as B (Breakfast), L (Lunch) and D (Dinner). Breakfasts and Lunches are normally served smørgåsbord style while Dinners are a set three course menu usually consisting of soup or salad, main course and dessert. As a rule, beverages are NOT included.

Itinerary changes
Every effort will be made to ensure that each tour follows the content of the itinerary. However, on occasion, conditions related to weather, seasons, strikes and climate or situations beyond our control may require revisions.

Passage Tours of Scandinavia, Inc. is incorporated in the state of Florida and is bonded according to the regulations of ARC and IATAN.
